MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 9 April 2025 – The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the 2025 FIM Snowcross World Championship (SNX), the FIM Women’s Snowcross World Championship (WSNX), and the European Snowcross Championship (ESNX) as the series heads to Fällfors, Sweden, for the final round on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 April.
This marks a historic moment for the championship, as it will be the first time ever that the SNX World Championship visits the spectacular snow-covered circuit of Fällfors. With the scenic Nordic setting, the track is expected to deliver a perfect battleground for what promises to be an electrifying showdown across all three categories.

SNX: Just 4 Points Between Ishoel and Pihlaja in a Championship for the Ages
The premier SNX class has been a story of intense rivalry, with Elias Ishoel (Ski-Doo) and Aki Pihlaja (Lynx) locked in a championship battle that’s gone right down to the wire. In the penultimate round in Türkiye, the two title contenders split race wins, with Pihlaja edging out Ishoel in the overall to reclaim a valuable point.
Heading into Fallfors, the Norwegian still holds the red plate with 115 points, but the Finn is breathing down his neck with 111 — and with qualifying races awarding 10-1 points from first to tenth, the battle officially begins on Friday.
Behind the leading duo, Topi Rinne, Mille Andersson, and Martin Johansson remain within reach of the podium and are poised to capitalise on any mistake. With a maximum of 60 points still available, the SNX crown is anything but settled.
SNX Championship Standings (Top 10)

WSNX: Forsell vs. Jonsson with Everything to Play For
The Women’s Snowcross World Championship (WSNX) has delivered just as much spectacle. Saga Forsell (Polaris) comes into the final round with a strong 12-point lead over her closest rival Wilma Jonsson (Ski-Doo). The Finnish rider was flawless in Final 1 in Türkiye, while Jonsson responded with a gutsy comeback win in Final 2 after a first race incident — setting up a tense and emotional final battle in Sweden.
Tied for third are Tilde Karelius and Emma Laamanen, both on 89 points, and both capable of disrupting the lead duo’s momentum. Just like in SNX, Friday’s qualifying will play a crucial role in deciding the final outcome, meaning the title fight will begin the moment the gate drops.
WSNX Championship Standings (Top 10)
- Saga Forsell (FIN, Polaris) – 116 pts
- Wilma Jonsson (SWE, Ski-Doo) – 104 pts

ESNX: A Three-Way Fight to the Finish
In the European Snowcross Championship (ESNX), the final round will also serve as the title decider after an intense opening round that saw three riders separated by just three points. He is closely followed by Ville Lehtisalo (FIN) with 42 points, and Atte Vanhatalo (FIN) with 40, who opened the weekend with a dominant Final 1 win.
With momentum shifting between each final and such tight margins at the top, the ESNX title fight is shaping up to be one of the most competitive battles of the season. Expect fireworks in Fällfors, as the European stars leave everything on the snow in pursuit of continental glory.
